Project Description

The project consists of the design, fabrication, and installation of an approximately 12’ wide × 10’ tall custom sculptural 3-D wall art installation.

The finished installation will function as both an original work of art and a functional fly rod display, incorporating storage/display capacity for approximately 96 fly rods.

The artwork will be designed specifically for its Brunswick, Georgia setting and will feature imagery inspired by the wildlife, landscape, and character of the surrounding coastal region.

Artwork & Design

The sculptural installation will incorporate multiple dimensional elements to create a layered, three-dimensional composition across the wall.

Design elements will include:

• Multiple fish species representative of the Brunswick and coastal Georgia area
• Multiple bird species native to or commonly associated with the region
• Selected Brunswick, Georgia landmarks and recognizable local elements
• Coastal and natural imagery incorporated as appropriate to create a cohesive overall composition
• Integrated fly rod storage/display with a capacity of approximately 96 rods

Final composition, placement, scale, and artistic interpretation of individual elements will be determined by the artist based on the approved overall design concept and the physical requirements of the installation space.

Fabrication

The project price includes the labor and materials necessary to fabricate the sculptural artwork and integrated fly rod display as represented by the agreed-upon design.

Because this is a custom, handmade artwork, minor variations in dimensions, surface characteristics, positioning, and individual artistic elements may occur during fabrication and installation.

The stated 12’ × 10’ dimensions are approximate and may be adjusted as necessary to properly fit the installation space and achieve the intended composition.

Installation

The project includes installation of the completed artwork at the designated project location in Brunswick, Georgia.

Installation will include positioning and mounting the individual sculptural components and fly rod storage elements necessary to complete the approved design.

The client is responsible for providing reasonable access to the installation area and ensuring that the designated wall and surrounding work area are available and accessible at the scheduled installation time.

Project Timeline

Fabrication and preparation of the artwork will take place leading up to an anticipated completion and installation timeframe of mid-November 2026.

A specific installation date has not yet been established. The final installation date will be coordinated between the artist and client based on the completion of fabrication, client scheduling, access to the installation location, and sufficient available time to complete the installation.

The mid-November timeframe represents the current anticipated project schedule and is not intended to constitute a guaranteed installation date. Both parties will communicate and coordinate in good faith to establish a mutually agreeable installation date as the project approaches completion.

Project Cost & Payment

The total agreed project cost is $5,000.

A $1,000 upfront deposit is required to secure the project and begin design, material acquisition, and fabrication.

The remaining balance of $4,000 will be due upon completion of the project and installation unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Changes to Project Scope

The $5,000 project price is based upon the scope described above.

Requests for substantial changes, additional artwork, additional fabrication, increased fly rod capacity, significant design revisions, changes to the installation location, or other work outside the original agreed-upon scope may result in additional charges.

Any additional work or associated costs will be discussed with and approved by the client before proceeding.

Completion

The project will be considered complete once the artwork and integrated fly rod display have been fabricated and installed in accordance with the agreed-upon project scope and overall approved design.
